Mohammad-Mehdi Heidarian, the art counselor of the museum, said that the center will provide facilities to people interested in making films on Quranic issues.
Films and scripts related to stories from the Holy Quran will be collected by the film center in order to turn it into a research center.
Experts will also be holding sessions at the center to advise filmmakers.
Every two weeks a short film on Quranic precepts from a series that is part of the center’s collection will be screened, with a question and answer session afterwards.
The museum is located near Marmar Palace at the intersection of Vali-e Asr and Imam Khomeini streets.
Saba cultural center to display items from Dafineh Museum
TEHRAN – Several items from the collection of the Dafineh Museum will be put on display at Tehran’s Saba Art and Cultural Center in the near future.
The project is being sponsored by Bank Melli of Iran (BMI), the Agriculture Bank, and Behshahr Industrial Development Company.
The Saba Art and Cultural Center is located on Mozaffar Street, near Felestin Square.
Teahouse paintings on display in Tehran
TEHRAN – An exhibition of teahouse paintings is currently underway at the Bahman Cultural Center.
Works of Abbas Boluki, Hossein Hamedani, Hossein Esmaeilzadeh, Mohammad Farahani, Ahmad Khalili and other Iranian master teahouse painters will be on display until February 7 at the center.

BERLIN – The 5th International Short Film Festival in the Berlin Subway is currently underway in Berlin.
Berliner Fenster in co-operation with interfilm Berlin are the organizers of 'Going Underground', the festival for 'Ultra Shorts' in Berlin's underground trains, which runs until February 7. Those privileged to travel the Berlin U-Bahn (underground) will find that their usual glassy-eyed 'underground-stare' will be awakened and entertained by a variety of short delights.
